SOMA Pop Choir started a few years back in the towns of South Orange and Maplewood (SOMA) NJ. As a group of talented locals they needed some branding to match their energy and enthusiasm. The rounded font help emphasize the fun and easy-going nature of the group. While the horizontal lines and “Ps” in Pop, hint at the music scale with notes.
